Jiangsu student's green idea wins German favor

Also taking part in a two-week science forum tour from Oct 16 to 27, Norgbey and 24 other candidates enjoyed exclusive access to Germany’s research landscape, visiting the German Remote Sensing Data Center, the Institute of Advanced Sustainability Studies and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, learning about groundbreaking projects on-site and possibilities for cooperation with German experts and facilities.
The annual Green Talents award is organized by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research to encourage international exchange of innovative green ideas. The event has been held for nine years and award winners are widely recognized for their outstanding achievements in making the world more sustainable.
