A cooperative school incorporating British styles of education is to be established in Suzhou, reported local media on May 25.
Suzhou Lunhua Education Group, a prominent education organization in the city, signed an agreement with Reading School, one of England's longest-running education institutions.
The agreement will see both parties establish a school in Suzhou New District that will bring British education to local students while continuing to introduce traditional Chinese culture. The two parties will also combine their experience in curriculum design, teacher training and teaching management.
Lunhua Education Group, a pre-school and elementary education provider and facilitator of international study and foreign talent recruitment, has maintained close ties with prestigious international schools, including Eton College in the United Kingdom and Singapore's Hwa Chong Institution.
