According to the “Opinions on the selection of Distinguished Professors of Jiangsu” issued by the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government and the “Notice of Carrying out the selection of the second batch of Jiangsu Distinguished Professors” issued by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security as well as the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Finance, the universities declared, the provincial Department of Education reviews and in-the-field evaluations by the experts, and after due consideration by the Coordination Group, a list of another 50 candidates for the positions of Jiangsu Distinguished Professors have now been promulgated, of which 36 are Chinese nationals and 14 are foreign nationals. The period for publication is 07 – 14 December, 2011.
